Silfurberg is the second-largest hall in Harpa. It is specially designed as a conference hall with first-class lighting equipment, a sound system, and interpretation booths. The hall is also suitable for electric music and parties.

Silfurberg is on the second floor of Harpa. The hall is mostly used as a conference hall and is equipped with a wide range of projector and lighting equipment, sound systems, and interpreter booths. It is also suitable for electronically amplified music of various types.

A sound-dampening retractable partition can divide the hall in two, in which case each section (Silfurberg A and Silfurberg B) can seat 300 guests. Two soundproofed portals connect Silfurberg and Norðurljós so that the halls can easily be used together for larger events.

The stage can be of different sizes and is portable. The seats are moveable, and the floor is flat. However, integrated sloped seating at the end of the hall is possible.

Grænalón is the backstage area on the 2nd floor and serves as the entrance to Silfurberg. The dressing rooms vary in size, accommodating groups of two to ten people, and larger spaces may also be available for bigger groups.

When renting Silfurberg, you will receive two dressing rooms at no additional cost, subject to availability based on the building's booking status. As appropriate, these rooms must be reserved through the project manager or business manager. If you need additional dressing rooms, they can be asked for a fee, depending on the building's booking status.

Eyri, the area outside Silfurberg, may be rented separately for various events. It has good acoustics for unplugged musical performances, high ceilings, and a beautiful view of the harbour.
