Múlinn Jazz Club

a man is playing a guitar while two men play drums and a man is playing a double bass .

Ambitious and diverse jazz progamme weekly in Harpa almost all year around.

Múlinn’s programme is ambitious, diverse, and a good example of the liveliness that characterises the Icelandic jazz scene. Guests can listen to top-quality jazz at a reasonable price while enjoying a great view of the harbour of Reykjavik.

Múlinn is a cooperation between Félags Íslenskra Hljómlistarmanna (FÍH) and Jazzvakningar. The club is named after Jón Múli Árnason who was also an honorary member and patron of Múlinn.

Múlinn was founded in the fall of 1997 but the first concert took place in the beginning of 1998. Múlinn is funded by The City of Reykjavík and The Iceland Music Fund and is in collaboration with The World Music Club and Harpa.

Organizers of Múlinn are Ólafur Jónsson and Haukur Gröndal.
