The ​​European Film Awards received Edduna, the Icelandic Film and Tv Awards, for cultural program of the year on Sunday March 19th. The European Film Awards, were held in Harpa´s main hall Eldborg on December 10 2022. Harpa was one of the event's production companies, together with the Ministry of Culture and Trade, the City of Reykjavík, B28 Produktion and the Icelandic National Broadcasting Service (RÚV).

The European Film Awards is the biggest event that has been held in Harpa since its opening, and tens of millions of people watched live from all over the world. The execution was flawless and showed clearly that Harpa is a world-class Concert Hall and Conference Centre.
