Sunday Classics
Sunday Classics is a classical concert series and individual events in Norðurljós or Kaldalón in Harpa every Sunday at 16:00, from September to May each year.
On Sunday Classics, attendees can enjoy a weekly first-class chamber concert at Harpa. The concerts highlight various performances featuring both classical singing and instrumental music.
The music groups organise the concerts, with Harpa supporting the series by providing discounts on hall rentals, promotional assistance, and marketing to expand the audience for classical chamber music.
Each year, in February and March, Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre advertises for participants in the concert series. Anyone is welcome to apply, and efforts are made to accommodate as many applicants as possible by scheduling concert dates.
