Saga VR has opened on the ground floor of Harpa, where visitors can experience Iceland from above in a custom-made chair with virtual reality glasses.

There are a total of four videos available that show different journeys around the country; South Iceland, Northeast Iceland, Snæfellsnes and volcanic eruptions in Merardalar. The videos are taken from the air with a drone and a 360° camera. The experience takes about 13 minutes.

It is open every day of the week from 10-18.

Price for adults is 4,300 ISK and 16 years and younger pay 3,100 ISK.
