Harpa and Icelandair start a partnership
with the aim of increasing the number of diverse international events in Harpa.
Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre and Icelandair have signed a cooperation agreement for three years. The aim is to draw attention to Iceland as an exciting international destination and the uniqueness of Harpa for conferences, concerts and other cultural events.
Harpa and Icelandair will, among other things, work together to increase the number of diverse, international events in Harpa, but such events are considered very valuable for the Icelandic economy and tourism.
The first event produced by the partnership is the visit of the Kyiv Grand Ballet from Ukraine, which will perform the Nutcracker together with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra on the first weekend of Advent. The ballet includes the brightest stars of the Ukrainian ballet stage, and four performances will be held in Eldborg next November 24-26.
