Reykjavík Recording Orchestra, based in Harpa, has just finished recording Hans Zimmer's music for Frozen Planet 2 for BBC and David Attenborough. Hans Zimmer is one of the most well-known composers in the world, so it is a great success for RRO to land a project as such. RRO specializes in the production of music for films and TV shows and a variety of music for publishing. Harpa's specially designed halls offer world-class sound quality, and they are extremely well suited for recording.

This year RRO has also worked on projects for Apple TV, Netflix, Amazon, Decca and Deutsche Grammophon. More interesting projects are on the drawing board as the quality of the production is on par with large recording studios abroad.
