Ýlir - Harpa Music Fund
Ýlir - Harpa's Music Fund for young people aims to support young musicians and give them the opportunity to perform in Harpa. The fund supports projects of various kinds and thus wants to promote a diverse musical life in the house.
The Harpa Music Fund for Young People, later renamed Ýlir, was established at the end of 2010 when the SPRON Cultural Fund was wound up with allocations for various educational, cultural and charitable causes. A total of ISK 80 million was spent on the establishment of this music fund, which is intended to give young and promising musicians the opportunity to perform in the Harpa for years to come.
Applicants can be individuals, bands, groups or NGOs. Allocation rules and application form can be found on Ýli's website.
