The Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saëns performed by the Reykjavík Chamber Orchestra. 

The Carnival of the Animals consists of 14 short movements that all describe different animals in tones. The music is both captivating and full of musical jokes and also introduces the main musical terms as well as the different characteristics and character of the instruments.

The work will be performed in its original form for two pianos and a chamber ensemble, and narrated in Icelandic

The concert lasts about 40 minutes and is specially suitable for children aged 4-12 and their relatives. 

Ticket prices: Children under 12: ISK 1,000, adults ISK 2,500.
