Private guided Tour with an architect

An interesting tour of Harpa for private groups with an architect, which tells about the concept and design of Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre. Henning Larsen Architects and Batteríið architects designed the house together with artist Ólaf Elíassyni. Harpa is located by the old harbor in Reykjavík and is quite noticeable in its surroundings. The building's cladding is very special, but it is based on three-dimensional glass strips that beautifully reflect the daylight into the building. Harpa has received a lot of attention - and mostly about its creation and implementation, but here the focus will be on its design and the philosophy behind its appearance. Private guided Tour with singing

Guided tour of the building for private groups where the guides tell you everything about the design, the unique glass facade by Ólafur Elíasson and Henning Larsen Architects and everything else that makes Harpa the unique building it is. The tour ends with a concert on the east side of Harpa, a rarely seen space with a unique view of the bay and Esjuna. The performers of the concert, Ingibjörg Fríða Helgadóttir and Sigurður Ingi Einarsson, go through the history of Icelandic music, singing and playing instruments, from medieval duets to disco.
