Pi­an­ists from The Nor­we­gian Academy of Mu­sic and Ice­land Uni­versity of the Arts

On February 2nd at 14:30, young up-and-coming pianists from The Norwegian Academy of Music (NMH) and Iceland University of the Arts invite you to a joint concert in Hörpuhorn in Harpa.

The students of renowned pianist Christopher Park from NMH bring you repertoire as varied and dynamic as the class itself. From Beethoven and Brahms to Janácek or Iceland’s own Jórunn Viðar, the thrilling programme will take audiences from epic compositions to intimate, contemplative pieces.

The group has previously toured in Norway, Sweden and Italy and is visiting Iceland as part of an international cooperation between the Icelandic and Norwegian academies. They will play concerts and hold masterclasses at several venues in Reykjavík and Reykjanesbær.
