About
At this concert Ásgeir Ásgeirsson and his ensamble will play a
repertoire of Icelandic folk songs from the three albums he released, where he
traveled with Icelandic folk songs to Turkey, Bulgaria and Iran and recorded
with some of the leading instrumentalists from those countries. The three
albums; Two sides of Europe (2017), Traveling through cultures (2018) and
Persian path (2020) have received excellent reviews both at home and abroad and
have been played on various world-music radio stations around the world.

Björtuloft
Björtuloft is located on the top floors of Harpa, at the very summit of the building, offering spectacular views of the city, the harbour and the mountains. Björtuloft makes an elegant and unusual setting for special gatherings, such as private corporate banquets and meetings. The hall is on two levels with a bar and balconies on the lower level.
